Last year’s Photo and Video Experience (held at the Kyalami Race Track) made for a great interactive expo enjoyed by thousands of visitors. Godox ambassador and Fujifilm X-Photographer, André Badenhorst, hosted a two-hour workshop together with Yolandi Jacobsz from The Nicolassi Brand who created an explosive, bright pink set up. It was interesting to see how André would isolate and emphasise each pink element making it stand out from the rest.

The pink elements included an interesting peacock rattan chair that had a beautiful shape and sprayed with a glossy pink. Yolandi used about 200m of pink ribbon and a pink headwrap to create the model’s detailed outfit and the pink cake from La Moraine added that luxurious, lavish element. The “look” was nothing less than spectacular and the outcome, a conglomeration of collectively creative imaginations. André used Godox equipment for his light-shaping and it made for both a moody but impactful set of images.
