Hi, I have a Sony HVR-HD 1000 video camera using mini tapes. I want to convert it to a harddrive camera with a memory card adapter/reader. Can you please advise where i can get such a reader?
Hi Marius
Since your camera is compatible with Atomos products, the easiest way would be to use an HDMI recorder such as the Atomos Ninja Star. This will convert the camera’s signal via HDMI and record to the *cfast memory card in the Ninja Star thus making it digital.
*sold separately
Kind regards

Good day
is it only their camera range that is back or is it their full range e.g TV and audio ?
Hi Rebone
Even though the entire Sony brand didn’t withdraw from South Africa, the branch responsible for photo and video equipment did. So, after establishing a new, local support network through Premium Brand Distributors, Sony announced the return of their photography and videography products towards the end of 2017.
Kind regards
