Lead through to the entrance by the sound of beating drums and greeted with tribal face paint (a famous Moyo’s trademark) and cocktails, you better believe that Instax SA pulled out all of the stops at the SQ20 launch party.

After the initial meet and greet they explained some of the Instax SQ20’s new features and showed us through to tables stacked with Instax film and demo cameras where they encouraged us to play around, explore and have fun with the instant camera. There were dancers and drummers for guests to practise the Frame Grab and Special Filter Sequence on, but people seemed to find inspiration all over the place with this entertaining camera.

Some of our favourite moments were getting creative with the Double Exposure and Time Warp settings and we loved the fact that we could take multiple photographs and print as many photos as we wanted. Before we knew it, we were signing and sharing photos with some of our regular clients and X-Photographers like André Badenhorst, Earl Abrahams and Warren James. Managing Director of Fuji, Takeo Hata, even joined us for a selfie!

This event proved how the Instax SQ20 can bring together a bunch of people and inspire them to create lasting memories.
