The free training course offered by Canon SA and Vega School is a basic introduction to photography with Canon DSLR cameras. It covers things like lens choice and the impact that has on depth of field and angle of view. It covers photography basics like aperture, shutter speed and ISO and then goes into detail about the usage of the mode dial, metering patterns and picture styles.
The course is a lot more than just a reading out of the manual and will hopefully give you the grounding you need to further explore photography. Please note that it is aimed at beginners, but even intermediate users may gain some insight.
As Canon has partnered with Vega School on this project, we fully endorse not only this course but also the entire range of courses offered by them.

Hi Nicolette,
You would have to check with Canon South Africa, they might be able to assist you. Canon SA – 012 675 4900.
If Canon SA cannot help you we would recommend Photowise. Although it is not free it surely is value for money. http://photowise.co.za
