Compatible with the 501PL camera plated (supplied with the head 501HDV, 503 and 519 Video Heads) and the special 501PLONG accessory plate. This Quick Release adapter gives you the freedom to remove the camera from the head without detaching it from the plate and put it on any other support. Supplied with 1/4'' and 3/8'' camera screws.

This is a fantastic item because it can be fitted onto any brand of tripod. My primary reason for purchasing it was so that I can attach the base plate of the Ronin-S permanently onto my camera and then be able to interchange the camera seamlessly between a tripod and the Ronin-S without ever needing to change base plates. This adapter enables me to do just that.
