This optimize hand grip is made from aluminium alloy and perfectly matches the body of your camera. To better support the use of large-diameter lenses when mounted to a tripod, an additional 8mm of clearance is added from the hand grip to the base of the body.

Easy to use with Improved comfort

At the base of the grip, a 38mm-wide protrusion features a dovetail design that can act as a quick release plate with Arca-Swiss-Style tripod mounts. Compared to the standard MHG-XT grip, the large-style offers so much more body facilitating improved comfort when shooting for longer periods.

For your peace of mind this grip allows easy access to the battery compartment as well as the memory card slot, even when mounted to a tripod. Furthermore, the 1/4"-20 tripods mount has been positioned along the optical axis of the camera to benefit the creation of panning shots.
