Jack's patented multi-functional use makes him one of the most capable and user-friendly tripods ever created. An innovative system enables a number of modifications to transform the capability of Jack. With a detachable Monopod which is the tallest in the 26mm range, and a double section removable and reversible central column, Jack really is the ideal all-round tripod.

Conventional tripods that enable macro photography through inverted central columns, are inhibited in their application. The length of the central column usually limits the leg extension to just half or maybe a single extension before the camera is lifted away from the ground. The space between the legs is narrow and tight, and makes it awkward to access camera controls, and harder still to frame and focus with such narrow depth-of-field usually associated with macro photography. With the Jack Macro Specialist Tripod, the user can extend the tripod canopy to over 1 metre from the floor, with the legs of the tripod extended at 55 degrees, giving a huge amount of space to work in. The extendable columns also have mounting points at either end, enabling the attachment of laptop platfroms or iPad brackets for tethered shooting, giving you ultimate control and stability in one easy to use system.

The included Evolution 2 AirHed 1 Ball Head is an ideal match to the X4a Jack legs. Weighing in at just under 400g including its quick release plate, the AirHed 1 supports up to 35kg so stability is never an issue. The head features a bubble level, pan lock and clutch to adjust the tension on the ball.
