Thanks Pieterd, JVW, and Jason. JVW, they are on the flower stalk of my Bismarck palm. Unfortunately, the stalks start at about 10 feet up and shoot up to around 15-16 feet. With an 8 foot ladder I can only reach the bottom portions, so I get to do a lot of waiting. (The grass is always greener syndrome).
