      it began with the fmale crossing the road from left to right. the male followed with the chicks and began walking down the road. I followed at a discreet distance. he tried to lead them off the road but kept choosing spots where the bank was too steep for the little ones. like any womon, she eventually lost patience with his ineptitude and came storming back into the road to take over.. and quickly led the chicks back into the bush. (see photo posted : proud papa)
