Hi all... this image was taken at Pilansberg Nature Reserve with the company of Pieter and Ciska Venter... this is the most beautiful and largest jumper I have seen... an ant mimic specific... needless to say that it was also so damn restless... I posted both shots for interest taken by the 100mm and by the MPE 65mm.

I so love the blue colouring on its face... so wish I had more time to shoot this critter... but this is the best I could do... thanx Pieter for the 100mm.

      Crits and comments welcome... ENJOY!

Have a lovely long weekend... BE SAFE... and take great photos!

The MPE seems to give you a slightly better DOF, I like this image more because it gives a better perspective of the spider...

The flash at this angle seems less noticeable too....

      Another corker mate....vvwd

Beautiful spider and capture. Seems as if the MPE has better resolution, colour and contrast?

Lovely sighting Jason, and lucky fish u to spot one.
Also prefer this shot, more detailed, and the contrast looks better. Nice work sir.

      Nothing to touch that MP65!

Excellent find and as always perfectly caught on your sensor.

Ditto Pieter..It was so fun to see these 2 men sitting at a table in "fish eagles" picnic area, with this spider in the middle of Macro Paparazzi . Thank you for joining us Must agree, I would've also like to have more time shooting macro.. I also prefer this shot with the MPE more
