This photo formed part of the same event of which I posted a photo on 7 April. The whole story was told in the communication exchange. The cheetah on this particular photo is one of the cubs that had its turn in practicing its hunting skills. Eventually it caught the springbuck, but lacked the skill to finish it off, so the mother had to intervene and finally killed the prey. Although very cruel, it was one of the most remarkable scenes I've seen in the KTP for a long time.
