Just got back from a great holiday around Nam, which is quite an amazing place at this time of the year with the rain falling. Will be posting images from time to time, both on this forum and also wildlife.

This image is of the iconic Groot Spitzkoppe. This was the first evening that we were there and driving around the mountain for the first time is pretty mindblowing. The main peak is unhikeable as it is made from sheer granite faces. Intrepid climbers come here from all over the world to conquer and I can only imagine how good the view from the top is.

View from the bottom isn't bad either though.

4 images stitched, single shot, no HDR, 5D mark ii, Zeiss 21mm.

      Crits and Comments always welcome.

Thanks all for comments. Rob, I used a ball head leveller to make the tripod level, but nothing fancy after that. I think if you have an intricate foreground, then one of those pano heads could be a good idea.

WOW! Can't comment on the technicals, but from an eye-catching-head-turning-perspective, this one gets a thumbs up. Awesome shot
