    1. Brilliant Chris,
      …now at risking my neck to suggest that I'd like to see a little more d.o.f. just to see the background a little more defined, to reduce the 'silhouetted' look slightly - maybe a stop or so? I'd like to see a touch more motion. I'm guessing that 1.5 stops down might acheive more depth, slower shutter, sharpness…not that that's an issue here

      For me perfect as is. At f8 you've got the subject pin sharp and the background is beautifully blurred to give you great separation. Any more DOF and you'll have the background competing with the subject.
