Stunning image, love the motion of the paws along with the sharp head, image also pops very well from the bg, my only nit would be the skyline is a little distracting to me, have you tried a pano crop with no sky?

This is stunning Pika . Love the motion captured and the "sad" story. Now I am homesick for the bush

Thanks guys!
I like this orange sky, but I am bothered with the transition that looks too strong (this darker orange line). A pano crop cut the trees in half, and it bothers me too.
I hope the next comments will help me in this choice, or poropse a ps process to reduce this transition line...

Love the motion in the body and the crisp head, stunning Pika! Regarding the sky, how about running a Gradient on it?

Super sighting and story.
The subject sharpness BG blurring contrast seems a little harsh to me? The fact that none of the BG or foreground in the same plane as the cheetah is in focus makes it seem a little unnatural to me.
I am sure nothing someone with your talents can't fix and even so it is merely opinion.

Pika, this is a stunner! Regarding background, I would try clone all the way up-it might be quite a job, but it is worth it, in my humble opinion. What an amazing shot! VVVWD! Love the motion there, the colours! Where was this taken? Looks to me like the KTP. BEAUTIFUL!!!

Many thanks everybody !
- Polenswa, I thought I had used a graded filter, but looking at the file again I realize I did not, so I need to try this.
- Pieter, the blur is 100% natural, and I did not noticed what you saw. Maybe the lack of anything sharp on the same cheetahs plan is due to the movement blur added to the out of focus one (shot handheld at 1/15s with the 600mm).
- Gabriela, I hate to disclose the location , but it was Mpayathutlwa pan, KTP!
- Basil, you are way to generous in your comment !

Looking at your exif I can clearly see what you say and how you achieved the shot. Wow! A few levels above my ability and original comprehension. My apology
