A lovely spot, very well captured and processed. Nice comp, lovely detail and some great tones.

Interesting shot and Im a little confused by this shot. When you say.. 3 photos merged, do you mean three photos of the same scene blended or do you you mean three different images merged. im only asking this because Im really intrigued by the perspectives in this image and scale of objects close and far. A lovely hot and little things that bothers but stil like this very much

3 different images shot horizontally, manually merged. As in -

I've yet to get a wide-angled lens, so this is my quick fix for the time being.

Which parts of the image bother you? Are they lines that don't add up, or something in the image that shouldn't be there, or is the image too busy?

Lovely, surreal shot! Creates an almost "fairytale" wonderland feel. Post processing great for the effect you achieved, slightly on the "heavy" side (greens are very green and water blues and purples very striking, etc). Love the composition with rocky lead-in. Panorama perspective from three shots interesting (probably all at around 27mm full frame?). I love it!

The image is not to busy no. Im following now what you did in combining three images to form the whole scene. The "blending" midway through the image has the light a bit confusing and over the hills transitioning between the falls and the mountains in the background. Im not sure what it is but what my mind has difficulty in "accepting" is moving from river/falls, unto the scale of the trees there and then to move beyond that into the mountains.
This Im sure is only me and simply coveying my thoughts on an image that certainly has a lot going for it and worth many more shoots/returns to.

Overboard - Thanks for the detailed feedback. I'm glad you like it. I was trying to keep it as realistic as possible, but alas, I slipped up along the way :P

Rian - I appreciate your input, alot. I'm not here to show my pics, because there isn't much to show, but moreso to improve on my pictures. What you've said about the trees and lighting has been mentioned to me by a friend as well, so ye, I shall sit with this image another evening and try to get it correct. Thanks for pointing out in detail.

I quite like this. I get Rian's point...but still like it. Great colours, depth and light to convey the scene.
