Well timed and good detail captured.
Comp works, but reflection does not really add for me, so a landscape comp may have worked better.
Only my personal opinion, this still works as it is, well done.

Thanks Allan and Jason for your honest opinions. I reckon that is what we post our pics for...honest comments.
I am interested in hearing a few other opinions as well as I feel that the reflection does a little space to the comp and places the subject in perspective to its surroundings...don't know . I tried a few other comps and thought that this was the best ons...

Agree with Allan Roux. the head reflection looks a bit like a block, and distracts my eye a tad. Might have been better with the whole reflection in the shot.
Still, very nice detail, timing and exposure.

I think I'll go with Allan on this one Andries but whichever way you look at it, it is an excellent shot. Lovely colours.

....Again, thank you all for your honest comments. I really value your opinions highly. I'll go back and have another look at the different options as to the best comp for this shot....
I think perhaps one of the reasons I left more space around the subject is because I can't get close enough with my 100 - 400mm lense which makes bigger crops less effective as I lose to much detail, etc....
