Hi Grant,up to your usual high standards and of a difficult subject well done.
He looks like the one that nearly killed me last year!
Do you find the elephants in the Savauti area still very nervous?

This is a beautiful shot Grant - It would be great on a magazine cover as you have left some good space above the Elephant. The contrast really add's to the depth of the image and the color is sublime.

Thanks Andrew, Ross, Jeff, Kobus, Wessel, Manana, Francois and Frans...for taking time to look and comment. All appreciated. Jeff, about the elephants, I find each herd or individual a bit different, some of them travel over big areas, and are exposed to harassment by people in farming areas, etc, so it is no wonder they are not always overjoyed to see us. However, the next herd or bull might be as relaxed as can be. I try to keep a careful look-out. So far so good.
Ross thanks for the suggestion...

Grant, did you post your "reworked" shot here? Looks like the OP from last night, so I would suggest the same slight tweaks to take this already stellar image to even a higher level, by just doing a highlights multiply layer.
That being said, the IQ on this shot is sublime, and I wish it was mine!! Enjoy your break
