      Marievale. My first decent shot of this bird. They are not as frequently seen as the Southern Red Bishop. Was quite pleased to get close enough to get this shot.

      Great shot. Never seen one of these before! Looks like I need to upgrade from 20D to 7D. No noise for an ISO of 1600!! Good action and really nice BG. Well done.

      Thanks for all the great comments everyone - much appreciated.

      Les - the BG had quite a lot of noise. I had to do extensive noise reduction to get it smooth. No noise reduction was done on the bird.
