The cement factory down the road. Though I'd practice some night shots.

This is what happens when you run our of landscape in Joburg.

Thanks Rax. I just feel terribly sorry for myself that the nearest beach is 6 hours drive away and I have resorted to taking shots of factories, of all things.

Nice take I think, was looking at night shots of moving machinery at a coalmine this week and wishing they were mine

Nicely done, I would never have dreamed that building could look that good. Urban landscapes , I'm afraid I'm truly uninspired for this one.

Thanks Texasbelle. You were wishing the shots of the moving equipment were yours or the equipment and coal mine itself?

Thanks Meagan. Im quite surprised myself, that such ugly subjects can actually look quite nice. I find it a bit ironic that man made stuff, absolutely ruins a nature shot but now, I find the trees distracting in this one. As for the "uninspired" bit...I may even take to the urban landscapes thing, since I dont have much of a choice of landscape subjects, not getting out of JHB very much.

Then lets swop, you van have the beach I'll take the factories. I am a sucker for gritty pics and Industria IMO make for nice gritty pics. But mine won't look beautiful like yours, I will get it downright gritty and ugly, think Silent Hill.

Hehe, I'd take the beach any day! Also not getting out of Joburg much and getting bored. Rax, I'm sure you'd make pretty good work of these "gritty" landscapes we get to play with.

The colours in the thumbnail attracted me to it immediately. Very nicely done!

Does look nice Neville, I like the inclusion of those few stars too! I think the image is leaning slightly to the right though. Nice work
