Francois, it looks easy to do but note the following here. The PKF cannot just be inverted as the colours under the tail are different. There also cannot be a shadow on the wing underside as reflection. The angle of the sun and the shooting angle create a difference between the subject and the reflection.

Francois...to tell you the truth how I feel about these kind of shots is that I don't believe it is as shot.... and I do feel you need to disclose the fact if so or post these images in the Visual impact gallery. As in this image:
      http://www.outdoorphoto.co.za/forum/...34&ppuser=1914
as well as this image: http://www.outdoorphoto.co.za/forum/...60&ppuser=1914
proportion and scale is not correct and does not look believable. In the one you disclose " two shots taken" and the other one not ?
Don't get me wrong I have nothing against any photographic art you might pursue but there is a great difference in getting a shot like this in camera and creating it after wards as your art.
If you post images like these: http://www.outdoorphoto.co.za/forum/...03&ppuser=1914
and then disclose that you have used two or more images like you did but you have four or five other similar shots posted just before that one, then surely it casts a shadow on those images if they were manipulated or not. As time goes by people start forming ideas on what is the truth and what not. Would you like members to every time doubt if any of your images is truly as shot or not?
If distinct behavior is shown in an image like this:
      http://www.outdoorphoto.co.za/forum/...11&ppuser=5300
and all the facts disclosed with the image I am 100 percent for that. There are a lot of people to consider that form ideas and learn in this gallery including beginners, hobbyist, professionals, purists and just general nature lovers. They all need respect and the truth I ask.

Thanks Basie, I was wondering if I should post these in pictorial but I was not really sure. These were actually attemps at one of the upcoming pssa salons where they have a manipulated section and I was testing the water as I do not have real knowledge of this type of work. I was actually looking for comments on how I did as a "artist". Sorry if I offended any one.

No offense taken Francois. You're doing great work and have good pp skills to pursue your art to the highest level especially your landscape work.
It is also good to test the waters to see if you're on top of your game. Disclose the facts and you will get a lot of assistance here I'm sure. Good luck with the saloons.
