Description: What may look like potential confrontation is in fact a silent request from a big buffalo male to mate with the female nearby. Eventually he got what he wanted, perhaps because he was a relatively nice guy with good manners. Or simply because she thought he had great genes...Nevertheless, it was great to get some shots of buffalo behavior, since most of my images portray these majestic animals as rather boring...either staring at the lens or just grazing away...
