When I went for a medical before starting my first job, I was told that I'm colourblind. I was very surprised as I never realised this before and I was 24 at the time.

The only problem I have with colourblindness is answering questions about those tests.

Here is a plugin for Photoshop to see how colourblind people see normal stuff.

Copy it in your photoshop > plugins folder, and you will find it under Filters

Well Marcell, I am not colourblind but I do have weakening eyes and have been wearing glasses for several years. This comes primarily as a result from being on a PC since I was 11 years old. Those were the days of the green hercules monitors which was really bad for eye's. I have noticed in the last year that I have color differences in each eye, in other words if I look through the viewfinder with my left and then my right eye, they one is duller than the other. They still "luckily" both see the same colours just not as vivid as each other, but it is a concern as a photographer that my eyes are not what they used to be.
    Cheers
    Mitch

Marcell, I want to tell you a little secret but please don't tell anybody. I am also colourblind.

Troughout my life I had my moments of drama and moments of humour. I comfort myself with the thought that I can do certain things that "normal" people can't do. One of my grandsons, now in grade 7, inherrited this blindness (100% green and 50% red) which I have inherrited from my grandfather on my mother's side
