Got to shoot another show by Juanita last week. What a pleasure. She must be one of the most amazing performers to shoot. Stunning, expressive & the added advantage that she sounds so incredible.
This series (now up on my site) were all shot @1600ISO, 250th & 320th using the Sigma 28-300.
Lighting at concerts is always tricky & one has to pick shots carefully after viewing which coloured lights in which position offer the best effect & then shoot quickly when the combination appears. Composure has to be constantly adjusted as the artist moves about. Especially if like me, one likes to shoot the correct composition as opposed to croping in post process. Even with the pp tools available I still prefer to shoot the shot rather than make it afterwards.
