Default Urgent help please - digitizing slides

I need to quickly scan 20 slides; I'm pressed for time as it will be made into a photobook which is going to the UK in a few weeks time. Anyone out there who can help me - please post here or drop me an e-mail. Thanx in advance.

I could help as I have a flatbed with slide/neg adapter plates. The problem will be in getting the slides to me as I am in CT. If you get no local help, please feel free to contact me.

I have one of those slide converters. Done a few without any post processing and it worked fine. I'm in Midstream if you want to pop in and do them or you could borrow it?

Hi Martin, the scanners working like a charm, quite a nifty piece of kit that, simple and easy to use. Scanning slides from when wifey and her siblings were toddlers, and no, I'm not allowed to laugh out loud, especially one where she's about 2 yo and sitting on her little red tractor, (Oops, shouldn't have said that!!) Almost done with the scanning, doing some negs as well whilst I have the chance. Many thanx for your assistance in lending me that scanner.

Hi there. Interested in the type of scanner used. Is it one of those ION scanners that Incredible Connection are advertising? I'm going through my own sides at present using a HP flatbed scanned with transparency adaptor. Must say the results are not quite what I was hoping for.

I've been scanning a few slides with an Epson V500 flatbed. It is slow to get any sort of decent resolution. I'm quite happy with the results, printed at A4 on glossy paper.

I would also be interested to know what scanner was used as my dad has quite a few boxes of slides from 'way back when'. We tried to scan them with his HP all-in-one, but the results were not really worthwhile.
