    Default Battery cases

I am looking for plastic cases for AA batteries (penlights)

the normal plastic wharehouse places dont stock this ...

With three speed lights I am now carrying a LOT of penlights, and want to keep things neat, tidy and organized.

    PLEASE ODP, pretty please ...

Might not be exactly what you're looking for, but the cheapie Uniross rechargeables(the red ones) come in a nice lockable plastic case that you can reuse. A pack of 4 costs R30 odd, not that bad.

    Thanks Anco

There are a number of sites that shows the cases. But the last time I ordered from over seas it turned expensive as the shipping and customs nearly doubled my initial price estimate - a 2k book turned to 3,5k !! But this book is NOT available locally so I had no other option.

I am HOPING for a local supplier !

An alternative is to sew a strip of elastic into loops onto a firm base. Some toiletry bags have such loops and I have a nice one that I keep cables, chargers, adapters, batteries, etc. nicely sorted. I have some of those cases that my batteries (Hahnell) came in but they are starting to crack from being used.

Sean can you please post a pic of the boxes you have. price ?

I am interested in 3 of 8 cell cases and 2 of 4 cell cases, might even buy more of each just to have a few spares.

TS - I would gladly buy those cases ... as per my first post, I am just "scared" of all the hiden costs when buying from overseas

Hey boet you have no idea just how happy I am with your assitance !!!

even my beloved store across the road from me could not help me ...

and I have spent so much time scouring the local plastics stores.

Just waiting for Jean to confirm the postage and I will make payment.

What plastic warehouse does stock are little ziplock bags just the right size for four AA batteries.

Williams I already have bags full of batteries ...

A while back I saw a tog using these battery cases on location - NEAT and orderly, just the way I like it.

With three speedlights, I have a LOT of rechargable batteries, and a host more standard batteries for the pocket wizerds ...

Now I can can mark set 1 and 2 for each speedlight and keep sets separated etc.

As a hobbyist tog it sadly does happen that a few weeks (or months )go by between speedlight shoots. Thus I take the batteries out of the speedlights between shoots .... thus I often have 30+ cells in my camera bag .... (last Saturday these batteries just managed to give me enough flashes for the days two shoots)
