Some Useful Techniques for Low Light Wildlife Photography
Not exactly about gear, although i was using the 1Dmk4 when I took the pic used in my latest blog post. Just shared a couple of things that I do that help me squeeze maximum quality, sometimes, out of opportunities that may occur when photographing wildlife in low light. You can read more here:

Basically, up your iso to what you need to freeze movement, open the aperture wide as you can, grab your first shots, then if the subject sticks around, think about changing things up to try get better quality pics...but I have elaborated on these things in the blog post.

Re: Some Useful Techniques for Low Light Wildlife Photography
Interesting read, any tips for the other type of wild life? I mainly cover live music events and the wild life there is very unpredictable... so is the lighting...

I fully agree with Grant. Regularly teach that technique to my students as well.
