    Default DIY Super Macro - Converting a 18-55 Non IS kit lens (Results Only)

    The problem with a Marco reverse ring is that your metering does not work however a quick hack on a spare lense gave me a super macro with metering.

    I removed the part that connects to the body and stuck it to the other side removing the pin-to-body connectors from the circuit board and connecting it via some wires back to the PC board

    Using LED strip for lighting I did some Marco shoots first at 55mm then at 18mm (18mm give much more macro ratio)
