How about the Capies get together on a Saturday afternoon and have a second hand gear party.

Bring all your gear you might want to sell, lenses, old bodies, collectables, books, filters, TC's tubes, flashes, tripods, monopods, heads, bags, studio equipment, props and whatever else you can think of.

We have a couple of pints and tequila, have a boerewors roll, make acquaintances and perhaps get rid of or acquire some stuff.

We could do this at my place.

If I had kit to sell I`d be tempted to ask what you have against sport + wedding photographers
But a fun idea.

Come to think of it, I do have an old film Minolta.
Any chance of making it a Sunday?

I dont mind what day it is - but I think we sit with so many things we are too lazy to pack up and sell on the web, and it make sense to sell to people who are familiar to some extent. Also someone may have something you didn't know you wanted!

I like it, I have so much stuff left over from my wedding days and it is just gathering dust, just can't do this saturday
