    Default Where in Kimberley?

    Hi all and thank you for your help.

    We are leaving for Kimberley tomorrow morning. Our school is taking part in the Wildeklawer rugby Tournament over the long weekend. Are there places around there for birding and/or wild life photography?

    haven't been there for quit some time, but north or the city is a large pan that used to have a large flamingo colony. Not sure what will be there in winter though.

    Kamfer Lake on the N12. Access is not easy and your are a bit far from the birds, but there are opportunities if you are patient. You will be rewarded with a fly by occasionally.
    Mokala NR, and De Beers (they don't do day visitors) Google Diamond Route.
