Hehe - Singer want around R 100 for that mushroom screw-in bulb. Try and find one at a shop selling bulbs. I buy mine for R 15 (60W) here in CT at a flea market in Milnerton...

I also get my from an electrical goods store. I just took the blown one with and ask for one like that. I did manage to get 100w ones. Best part: @R9.65 per bulb!
