Paternoster
I'm going to be staying in Paternoster next week for 2 nights and 2 mornings.....so hope to squeeze every opportunity out for photo ops.
Any surgestions as to what i shoudn't miss out on.I don't have a huge amount of time to scout out sunrise,sunset....but i'm sure there are hundreds of places. However if surgestions can narrow it down a bit that would be extremely helpfull. Also might try some birding?

Re: Paternoster
If you've seen the boats on the beach and wondered about them, they are launched in the mornings around sunrise. It's a frenzied activity and a lot of fun to shoot. For sunrises, you can get the beach in wide shots, and is quite pretty. Don't expect the sun to set over the sea - it doesn't, that's little jut of land obscures things a bit. you'll need to travel that sand road south to get sunset over the sea.
There is a very cool pond inland from the beach restaurant that, if it's windless, is quite lovely at sunrise. Also, the fishermen clean their catch IN the boats on the beach. It's messy...
If it's calm and quiet, the sea can be like glass, so long exposures can be pretty interesting.
And lastly, at the far end of the beach, there's a rocky outcrop on the beach with literally herds of oyster catchers. they are so lovely, so take your birding gear...
