I'm sure your guy does have other stuff on his/her plate but we're talking about a quick installation, not a major task, and then badda-bing it's done.

Go on, rip that plaster off.

I'm with Sean on that, Being in the development side myself even a simple application upgrade needs to be tested and tested again. Forgot to change the version number once and all clients down graded - OOOPS

I am not trying to say anything will go wrong, or that there should be any problems, but a small "upgrade" on our online shop '...that really should not have any effect on your site...' accidentally wiped all the product category allocations from the online shop about two weeks ago... result in 4 days downtime, four days without sales, and lost product updates for 2 days before that... Nobody was happy!

That's what dev servers are for.

Perhaps they're concerned about the lack of ads in the Tapatalk? Those animated gifs might be real revenue spinners

YES!!! I know! Isn't it bloody amazing? Who would have thought that South Africa, I mean SOUTH AFRICA, will have a frighin photographic SuperStore!? 1,000 square meters of photographic candy! On two levels! And hosting photographic safaris at 17 different locations on four continents! And still, we can give the coffee and nougat away for free...

    In other words...

Sorry that we have been busy expanding the core business and the associated electronic infra structure before adding a plugin so that your iPad can have a third way of adding content to the forum which is slated for a full rebuild.

Its still on the list, and still not a priority. One day it will work if tapatalk still exists and the functionality has not been replaced by a built in apple function.

Actually, you know what... You are right. My response was out of line. I appologise.

Tapatalk is on the to do list for the next version of the site which we hope to launch in the near future.

Chrome's backend is the same as safari's so one is just as good/bad as the other.

    Bad code = bad code.

This whole issue is akin to a kid crying about going to the doctor for an injection :
Kid arrives at the doctors rooms bawling its eyes out screaming and kicking
5 minutes later all surprised the kid realises during all the noise and kerfuffle it didn't see the injection being administered and it was so painless it went unnoticed......
    Mmmmm
