    Default flash bracket

    I have a Canon 50d with a Sigma 150 – 500 lens and a Canon Speedlight 430 3X Mk ii.

when connected to a monopod or tripod via the lens, I want to add an off camera flash, secured in place via the bottom of the camera.

would the following be suitable, or would i need something different?

    Wimberley F 1 telephoto bracket
    Wimberley P 50 plate
Canon off camera shoe cord OC – E3

    Hi Simon

    That is exactly right.

You need the slightly longer plate to accomodate the clamp of the f1.

    Fit plate to lens collar.

Thus the p50 is correct. OC-e3 cord fits straight onto top of the F1
