    Default Memory Cards

    G'day all

Quick question or more of an opinion poll.
I just got a Canon 7D and was wondering about compact flash cards. Basically, how many, and what size ? I know about read/write speeds so got that covered.

Do I get several 8gb cards, or a lesser amount of larger capacity cards ?
I shoot just about anything that wants to be photographed, and am looking forward to the hd vslr option(which I know chews memory like crazy) :P

    I was thinking 2x 8gb for photo's and maybe a 16 0r 32gb for video ?

    Thanx

I think you're on the right track. And yes, HD vid is memory heavy, so 16gb is a good option.

I ran with 16gb and 32gb cards with a few 8gb as backup... Just depends on how long you are travelling and what are you shooting.
