    Hi Guys

    i have read a few threads on the forum about this lens. Just wanted to get some updated comments. what do you guys think of this lens performance with and with out converters?

    Hi Alistair, I owned the non OS version of the lens. And if that is anything to go by then this must be a brilliant lens. Bearing in mind I'm not a pro tog you can check the photo shot with the non OS version I had.

    Anyone own this lens in Nikon mount? Just wondering if the Nikon 1.4X II teleconverter works with this lens?? Thanks

    This lens will not work with the Nikon converters.

    The Kenko 1.4x does fit, but I could not get it to focus properly. The Sigma 1.4x and 2x works perfectly. I tested both briefly and was able to handheld the lens with the 2x and my D300s and take pictures of flowers on 600mm. Sorry no pics to share, was just a quick test.
