View of pictures on my Apple Air via HDMI/Thunderbolt interface
Hi
I would like to know whether (or how) it is possible to view pictures taken by my Canon 50D on my Apple Air using the HDMI / thunderbolt connection. It works if I link the cable to my TV, but I suppose I need special software to be able to immediately view pictures taken on my Apple.
Any assistance will be highly appreciated.

Tethered shooting is your friend...
You can use Lightroom or the software that came with your camera (EOS Capture or Utility?) but that runs from the USB.

Thanks for your response. My sotware seems to be too old, which I realised after managing to get it onto my pc without having a CD drive. Lightroom 101 is being advertised on the Apple App store. Do you know whether that programme will also have the facility?

Lightroom 101 is a training module, not software (if we are talking about the same thing)
The full Adobe Lightroom software package can do tethering as far as I know
