I just received a 2nd hand Coolpix camera.However the shutter curtain does not open fully upon opening and closing. Anybody can recommend where repairs can be done? Also, how well does this camera rank as a comapct camera? thanks for your input.

Nikon Coolpix P6000 is a prime compact camera from Nikon, approximately 3 years old.

The camera does not have a shutter curtain - I presume you see the lens protector that is not closing properly.

You can call Nikon (www.nikon.co.za), ship the camera to Nikon in Centurion for quote and repair.
