    Default taking photos of stars

    I always wonder how to take a photo of the stars and get their movement. but not to over expose the photo.CAn some one give me some advise on how to and what to.

    Maybe try one of these devices. Don't know if available in SA though, but if realy interested sure they can ship.

    The lightning triggers are available from ODP

    I am thinking of selling mine, I am just not getting round to shooting with it (mine is for a canon though)

    Lol, then why do we have forums? We can certainly google every aspect of photography but its just not the same as using a good forum

    Pierre, contact Basie van Zyl, an ODP member. He has published an ebook about star photography covering everything from the big bang, until the time your ink tanks run try from printing beautiful star photos!

    Has anyone tried out Starstax or any related software for stacking night sky images into startrails?
