Default Spyder 3 Pro Yellowed Results

I'm a perfectionist, so after months of editing using an off colour monitor I finally snapped and got a Spyder 3 Pro directly from the distributor in Amanzimtoti since noone else had stock. After multiple attempts at calibration I keep getting a green/yellow tinge to the colours. I know it is off since my black and white images are now a disgusting shade of green.

Using a Spyder 3 Pro and an LG (I think) W2343.

Anyone else have any problems with this? It is doing my head in.

Life is a grave. Dig it.

A few things you need to check and consider.

    1. Switch off your Adobe Gamma if you still use it
    2. Check Windows are using the correct profile
    3. Note that direct light will influence the measurements for calibration, so be careful in preventing direct light. If you did the test in artificial light, rather use standard sunlight to re-calibrate.
    4. Check the connectors. If you are using DVI, your okay, VGI tend to have "noise" leading to colour distortion
    5. The monitor might have a cheap LCD panel.
