    Default Yaaaaaaaay!!!!

    I'm so excited!

Picked up my new (used) camera body today

Got me a D300s (only 1586 actuations), with a 24-80 AF lens and a 70-300 AF. The lenses are a tad old, but I had to take it as a package deal. Even came with a Sandisk Extreme 16GB CF card

I think I did well - paid R9k for the lot

Thanks for allowing me to waste your click - gonna go shoot something now

Oh Lord, thank You for the 80-200 f2.8 - can now finally take pictures of the dog and kids running through the sprinklers...

Why do I have to be the original guy who buys full price equipment! Go out there and enjoy.

Ai, these types of deals require patience and a lot of refreshing! Checking gumtree each day, sorting through the scams! But granted they are there!

Every now and then there is a bargain on ODP too, the sigma 150-500 today for R6500 and the 5D for R4500 about a month ago.

But it takes lots of patients and luck to refresh t the right time.

3600 odd frames per month. That's not particularly excessive, certainly by my standards.
