I can't help with CS3 but google autostitch - it's free and easy to use. I use autopano, which is licensed software that uses the same technology but is more powerful.

PTGui and PT Assembler are other options. They use the same technology as Autopano, but are cheaper to licence. I use PT Assembler and if the shots are well taken (matching exposures and WB, little/no parallax between shots, lens not distorted or too wide angle) then it absolutely nails the stitch.
Photoshop CS3 and more recent does a good job of stitching too, but can be slow and has less control than these other packages.

Re: Photo stitching with photoshop CS3 help needed
would have to be second hand, and won't work if the user upgraded and is selling his/her old disks... beware... why not go for 5 or 5.5 ?

Hi Sean, vs5+ to expensive, have the serial nr for CS3 illustrator, just need to open and edit a single *.eps file.

Sorry to the OP for going so far off topic! Kobus, depending on the edit, you can also work on eps files in photoshop.

Most programs autostich leave much to say. I use arcsoft ver 4 and it does a supurb job. Some of the programs came as bundles with equipment but you can purchase it off the web. Does straight panaramas or 360 or stacked vertical. I swear by it. Much better than my roxio program. Oh I dumped ps stiching, awfull.
