What do I need to use 2 flashlights?

Hi there.

I want to make a lightbox like this to photograph some things for a project:

I have the following:
* Canon 40D Camera with kit lens and 70-200mm f/2.8 NON IS.
* Canon 550EX Speedlight
* Canon 430EX II Speedlight

I know I need something to put on my camera to communicate with the 2 Speedlights.

I will appreciate your recommendations and advice.

You could also get another speedlite and use the 550Ex as a master / controller from the hot-shoe.

Wow, all this expensive equipment? There goes my project.

I understand the Speedlite Transmitter; so I thought that maybe that'l be all. Maybe I must rent all this equipment from ODP for a day or 2.

or just rent one 430 ex extra and use your 550ex as master and slave the two 430's
just checked now 430 is R 100 bucks per day

Dankie Marius. Then I'll rather do that. Do I still need a hotshoe on my camera? (Sorry for all the questions; I normally only use 1 flash light fitted on my camera body. )

Fit the 550 on camera set as master that will trigger the 430's
