Great clips. What rail you using ? made myself a IGUS rail system still have to find a suitable project for it to try it out. Some of the pulls are a little jerky, not that Joe Soap would notice, have you tried the rubber band trick ?

It's always a trick if you don't have to pay for another piece of equipment , but yeah nice one. I just notice a small 'tic' in some of the pans could have been the Vimeo compression.

I have a 1000mm IGUS WS-20-80 just laying here at home. Paid R2500 for it and now I never use it. Any takers?

Homemade or did you buy it from Zaza ? 20-80 a little overkill for 7D IMO I'm assuming you used it for bigger gear. Made myself a 1000mm 10-40 for the 7D nice and compact. What you looking for and what carriage are you using for that rail ?

Re: Canon 7D weddings and more
Mine is also DIY thanks to Zaza. I also went for the 10-40 on my second build one 1000mm & 520mm. The 20-80 is hardcore, rather heavy for a 7D weights around 3Kg. I have the four bearings lose and a DIY plate to connect them. I'll let it go for any price, it's too heavy for my needs, money down the drain but thats the price for R&D.

I have been trying to build a decent compact slider for a long time now. The units I have made are way to bulky and just not smooth enough. What's this I read about the Igus System. Is it local? Pricey?

Hi Motion Pixel, really like the videos, particularly the way youve managed to capture the textures of the dresses, very elegant
