Thanks for organizing last Saturday Albie, it was awesome. I’ll definitely need to get myself a tripod for the next time we go running around in the 1950’s (or whenever that place was last used).

Ay - sorry FJ - if i had known you were wanting one - i had an extra one in my car - and a few monopods. Next trip i will also have a spare or 2 just in case anyone decides to borrow one. They are not manfrotto's but i am very happy with the one i tried on saturday - and have decided to keep it as my personal one.

There will be some groundrules this time round to avoid the security check we had last time, but they will be explained on the day.

Below all the details I think you will need!

Meeting Venue: Atlas Studios Parking Lot.
Meeting Time: 08:30 for 09:00 start, DON'T be late!
GPS Co-ords: S 26°11'13.33" - E 28°1'7.73"

Shooting Venue: Old Gas Works, Braamfontein, Johannesburg
Start Time: 09:00 Sharp, once again DON'T be late!
GPS Co-ords: S26°11'24.71" - E 28° 1'11.89"

What to bring:
- Camera, 2 if you have... CHARGE those batteries!
- Wide and Tele Lenses... trust me.
- Water, atleast 1L or more.
- Wear long pants, denim, cargos etc. you don't want to be scratched by some rusted old iron!
- Same goes for footwear, no Flip Flops or sandles, wear closed comfortable running shoes or hiking boots you don't mind to get dirty!
- Tripod and cable release for indoor shots.
- Fully charged cellphone
- If possible basic First Aid supplies like Plasters, bandage, Pain Tablets, Anti-Septic ointment... trust me again, anything can happen!
- Identification for security.... rather they know who you are.
- Anything else I might have forgotten!

Patrick if any one cancels you are on the list for the 27th, otherwise the first new trip you will be on the list first.... might only be in July though, but there will be PLENTY of new adventures!
