My 7D custom Settings - comments and share please

Ok, so here goes - I am trying out the following but remember I am a beginner and trying these out for now. Please comment and share your settings that work.

*a 3 1 0 0 *b 1 1 0 0 0 0 0

*a = "-1" but will check if "slow" is better after testing on "-1"
*b = enable all

C.fnIV: 1 2 3 4
*c 0 0 0

*c = will comment on changes only and not those left on "default"
setting:

a) Shutter Button 1/2 Press = Metering Start
b) M.fn = VR Electronic Level
c) SET = Quick Control Screen
d) DOF Preview = ONE SHOT<>AI SERVO (when held depressed)
e) Joystick = AF Point Selection

As can be seen above, I have started using teh AF-ON button for "Bac Button" focusing which seems to have some benefits. It only takes one missed shot due to forgotten focus, to learn this technique.

Anyway, hope this helps someone

So far I am quite happy. The Back Button focus takes some getting used to but I am now enjoying it. Went to Intaka in CT the other day and my BIF keepers are definately improving with these settings although my aim needs some work as well.

if you guys battle with BIF set the focus speed down by one in the custom functions,I found that with my prime lense if my centre point moved off the bird for a split second it would focus on the BG almost instantly.and my number of keepers has doubled since I changed it.

If you see the OP I set it to -1 which is one step above "slow" (C.fnlll - 1) but will try "slow" some time this week as well.

my mistake,just checked it now,mine is also the one above slow! hope it helps

The thing I'm not too sure about is the Cfnlll - 2 setting of 3? Is this correct and can anyone explain why it should be so?
