You have to give more detail than this - ie what type of sporting event, photo's for competitors or media content, (are you an accredited media photographer, certain events make this mandatory), volume of photo's available for upload, etc. There are a number of sites but these are usually stocked by their own photographers, owner with a few assistants etc. I suggest you do your own thing, website with cap etc, as there is not a lot of money to be made through someone elses site. Put another way - I'm not going to pay for hosting your bulk images, do the advertising and then pay you for capturing them, I also like to eat. Sorry.

The basic copyright law and respect of privacy applies. You really shouldn't post photo's of any franchised event (Bulls, Stormers< Titans, Cobras, Kaizer Chiefs, Bokke etc in an open website and sell them for profit unless you have official (media) accreditation from the governing body. If you don't have, the governing body and the sponsors can sue you for misrepresentation of their brand and self enrichment off their franchise. I know, I've been down that road before so I know how they operate. Before anyone asks, no I wasn't sued, but a brand name refused the use of one of my motorsport photos in an advert to be used by another brand, so I had to find another photo with different sponsors/brands who was agreeable to the use of the photo. Same applies to the photo of Morne Steyn used on the Rugga Rang, the kicking aid sold by Verimark which he endorses - the Blue Bulls Company had to OK the use of the photo on the product and advertsing material. Sometimes those companys/individuals will require royalty payments, mostly not.

For schools its is good practice to obtain permission from principals/sport admins for the schools to sell the photo's, not always that well controlled and policed, but rather be safe. Nothing stops you from selling photos to parents of their kids playing, but again be careful that somebody doesn't take offence at having their little boy/girl be photographed by a stranger..........
