Default Use of white BG in studio

One of the most helpful tutorials I have read on the subject, just wanted to share.

I have, in a fairly short time, acquired an immense amount of admiration for Zack, and the unselfish way he shares his knowlege.

The above tutorial is dynamite! I tried it, and got the broad strokes right, but a low white ceiling makes things quite unpleasant!

I also recently bought his OneLight dvd, which together with the knowledge on strobist has taken my photography to new and exciting places.

It is very nice link.I like it.You have done great job.The white-room studio look has become really popular lately, especially for children.I love it for so many reasons. Kids are unpredictable, especially when you don’t know them.Removing the element of not only trying to catch the right moment, but also crossing your fingers hoping that the ‘moment’ happens in the right position within the frame of ideal natural light. It is a more affordable option for clients who can’t afford to hire you for a location shoot. I spend about 30 mins with kids in my studio. The lighting set-up is easy and optimal for whatever the kids decide to throw at you.Thanks.

I was about to ask the same thing. I bought a 6m x 2.5m piece of white cloth from the fabric shop (r35 pm iirc) but keeping the floor section clean from people standing on it is going to be a mission. This tile board sounds ideal.

Great link - thanks Ryan. I'm in the process of buying stuff and setting up a studio, so this is hugely helpful.

As far as I know, one can use ABS sheets, which are available from Maizey Plastics. I believe they serve the same purpose.
