Wanting your opinion on my wedding photography business name.

At least Sean has given the so called "Spammer" all his website details wher he will also find numerous contact e-mail addresses etc .... should give his SPAM filters a proper workout!!!

Hehehe... My spam filters are working overtime in any case... It's a bit of a catch-22: if you want people to get hold of you for work, then they must be able to get to your contact details

This is going to be long, btw

I started doing weddings a little less that a year ago, along with my soon-to-be brother in law. After weeks of not being able to decide on a name for our new business we chose Kismet Photography. Kismet meaning "fate" or "destiny". At the time I was okay with the name, but allot has changed and now I seriously do not like it anymore.

My brother-in-law has been promoted and doesn't have time to do weddings anymore, so I am carrying on with the business on my own now, and I don't feel like Kismet Photography really represents who I am.
My name is Annemari and my surname is van der Merwe and I don't really want to use that, but I am getting married in May 2009 and my surname then will Ruthven.

So, my question to you guys is: do you think Annemari Ruthven Photography, or something in that direction, is to complicated for a business name?

I have already bought the domain name annemariruthven.co.za, but I am wondering if it's going to to difficult to spell and even pronounce?

What are your feelings and thoughts about this?

I totally agree with him try to avoid long names too much spelling mistakes possibility. Use something catchy like: "FOREVER PHOTOGRAPHY" after all weddings are suppose to last forever
