Worst lens you have ever used?

Never heard of anyone that didnt like their 85 1.2.

Surely the 24-105 couldnt be the worst lens you ever had (marius & cj)? Happy with mine, but maybe im not expecting enough.

Marcell, I have owned lesser lenses (18-55 kit lens, 17-85 and 10-22, among others). These lenses performed well for me, well, within their limitations. I didn't have high expectations from these lenses.

The 24-105 is a L series lens, and naturally comes with high expectations in terms of performance. In the past year, I have owned and sold (17-40 4L, 24-105 4L IS, 24-70 2.8L, 70-200 2.8L IS) and still own (35 1.4L, 85 1.2L II and 135 2L).

The 24-105 was the worst of the L's I owned.

I am also doing away with my zooms except for the 70-200. Why did you sell yours?

I figured the only way I was going to learn shooting with primes was to get rid of the zooms, as I would revert back to zooms when I found shooting with primes difficult.
